Teaching Teachers...to shoot?

the teachers with weapons idea is crazy stuff.
Suppose teachers are armed. Is there no one out there that has the brains to think kids are pretty smart, and as we know 'there is always one in the crowd, obviously, who will have the wits about him or her to get the weapon from the teacher?
-teach leaves the class-where is the gun?
in her purse?- which is not in the class room.
in the desk-easy to break in.
or does the teacher wear a holster.
even if there is an 'anonymous' gun holder, someone acting as an agent on a plane, they are human. more than  less have mental or emotional problems.
more guns means at least one extra shooting, maybe accidental, probably so. BUT if that gun was not there, no shooting.
more guns is not the solution.

rockets just keep on coming

i'm pissed off. israel should not have stopped until they finished their mission.
i feel in my heart, however, israel is not going to stand for this. they know they are the only nation that others wish never existed. i think there will be special opps.
With the coming election which Netanyahu would certainly like to win, i dont think he will go against the will of the people.

when a town in israel is hit by a rocket propelled from gaza, it is always aimed at, 'whatever'. when they shoot rockets they are bound to hit regular homes, schools and playgrounds. The gagan rockets, made in iran, are meant to hit and kill civilians. they knowingly do this.
Israel fires back, but  they try to hit important and strategic spots.  say the rafah crossing, which is used for the entrances of tunnels built underground.  these are the things israel expects... only peace and security.

Stop Gaza Rockets

why does Hamas and the palestinians feel that at any time they may, and will, fire rockets into israel?
When Israel defends herself, she is always blamed for the entire affair.  Israel is always blamed for the aggression. 
Now, of course there will always be many civilian casualties in Gaza because of the density of humanity.
Why doesnt jordan, egypt, and the arab muslim countries there open their arms and tell their muslim palestinian brothers to come, 'come our brothers, we will take you in and help you, you are welcome here'

where are their muslim brothers..  they are to busy trying to destroy israel to think of anyone, or anything else..

well, the election is over, that is in most of america. Arizona seems to be taking their time.
there has been an historic shift toward liberalism and against the tea party, which last voting period swept the government.
I believe the tea party has had it's time. The voting this time around made liberals proud to be liberals.

Why in this day and age must a president need to be fighting against a man who wants to take away, it almost seems, womans rights, throwing a wrench into the way of anyone voting ?  Romney doesn't, nor does anyone else have the right to govern a stop to - Govern a stop to a woman's RIGHT to do with her own body what she thinks it needs.  It is after all her body, surely you repubs out there have to give her that.  and if her body belongs to her, how can it belong to the goverment?

We must, there is no doubt about it, update our country's infrastructure, and our education of our people for those jobs that are out there in industries which we must take as our own and become the number one nation in the world in Math, and Science.  where is our researcher without math and science?
Jobs, equality in pay makes a strong economy, being the best and the first in solar, wind, natural gas, and electric cars and stations.
Romney wants to give to the military money it doesnt even want or need instead of give to health care. A sick american population is a weak population. Our government should and must help those who are sick and cannot pay for doctors and medication. These are the american values.

Mr. Romney has whined at the president, that "you attacked me."  this is not the job for a whiner in a crib.  this is a job for a Man of thought. One who gets the arrow into the bullseye.

i mean 'the haunting', now i am talking about the very first 'the haunting.' i saw it the other night. i love those movies. it was f. excuse me.. it was frightening.. goose bumps stuff.
the last goose bump from something fairly knew, were some of the early gorey scenes from the begining of the first scream.  The steam that came from drew b?  wholllly coww. scary.

That should be a scary film classic to watch.
for fans of fright and terror. 'the haunting', the original. the original.

Why isn't The President thanked for what he HAS done?

President Obama has done much. Most of what he has done has been for the good of the people. The young, the old, the poor, and immigrants who were born here, or brought when so young they didn't know they were not in fact Americans.
The president has lenghthened the time for the viability of Medicare.
He has enacted the dream act, making those immigrant children mentioned above, americans.
Mr. Obama has put more money into the Pell grant. Money which given by the government to those who need help going to college. This money does not have to be paid back.
He has given Small businesses tax breaks over twenty times.
He has said "absolutely no" to chinese companies who wanted to build wind energy turbines near our own bases.
Govenor Romney harangues about the Obama administration closing manufacturing and sending it and the jobs to China.In actuality  it was Romney who broke up businesses and send those jobs to china. the chinese work for under one dollar an hour.
The president wants to close loop holes for those investments overseas, bring back those manufacturing plants, and the jobs here to the states.
Mr. Obama stressed and was able to pass the affordable care act. or if you like, obamacare. Health care for all who cannot afford it. those who can afford insurance, should pay. that seems fair.
those who get paid over twohundred and fiftythousand and over dollars should give back on a sliding scale of the amount you make, is what you should give back, into government, to help those who cannot help themselves. that seems fair.
He is not going to take food stamps
He will not disasemble medicare or medicaid.
The President was handed a complete catastrophe economically when he got into office only four few short years ago. It is getting better, but the president needs more time, we, need to give him that time, or we will make a terrible mistake as a country, and we will be right back where Mr. Obama had to start building again... what then   , well we must give this once in a generation president enough time to do what it is he started.

The debate is over. In my opinion is Mr. Obama won. How? by telling the truth, and going over what it is that this president has already has done and begun.

vote with your head, research the different party platform.  inform yourself, this is one of the most important points..inform yourself.
Women don't let your hard earned rights be taken away.
Don't allow for the poor to suffer even more than they do.
Give children, all children, a fair shake in this country. we owe them this.

The poor, under a Romney, by poor i speak of , from my own life, living on medicaid. I am grateful to my children for giving me a roof. Giving and not expecting anything
if my medicaid is taken away, i become a burden to my gracious and generous family. what i wonder then will happen.
it would be a must to get a babysitter for a few hours a day, while children where with ME.
Medicaid makes it possible for me to keep myself healthy.
I buy my own food, and by, for me,n 'cest pa also for whoever in the house wants. 
if romney takes my medicaid, i wont be able to have a checkup by a doctor.
I couldnt pay for the many medications i take.
It isnt really that i want to sit and tell my very personal situation. I feel i must yell out, call out.....  The  running Candidate has no joggin' cloths on man!

the conservatives did not like Joe Biden''s smiles. But that is Joe. These are the reasons that the dems and liberal base adore this man.
He is a straight shooter, and at the debate, this is exactly what he did.

I read an article which said the DNA of eastern europeans has anti semitism in it.  Something such as this, at least to my knowledge, cannot be true. and yet what is it which starts these terrible hatreds toward the Jews in those countries.

Vote the Platform ! ONE

Dont vote the president, vote the platform.

the GOP platform wants to change medicare into a voucher program. this would put medicare up into the air, and a catch as catch can and in my opinion would scare and confuse seniors. they simply wouldnt have the safe, secure knowing, that medicare is not there.

The GOP would overturn Roe vs. Wade, and take away a woman's right to choose. in other words, abortion would become illegal and the woman who choses to go ahead with a procedure which can be one of the toughest she can go through, can be arrested, along with the doctor who preforms the procedure.

the GOP would take away the food stamp program,funding for children who get free lunches at school, medicaid and all funding for the programs that assist the poor, the needy, and those who do not have the ability to 'pick their ownselves UP from their bootstraps".  Essentialy the needy, poor, disabled will be on their own without any help.

The GOP will cut the pell grants, which Obama just added too, and do away with 'the dream act' for children of immigrents whose children, through no fault of their own,are illegals. their children grow up and fight in the wars, come home and then cant go to a college because they are illegal. Obama has just fixed this. "The Dream Act" has made these children American citizens. this will be reversed if the GOP platform is set in motion.

the GOP seems to be steadfast in their hawkish ways. they speak of war with Iran.  Another war. do you want another war.  that wont bring down the deficit, it will add to it several trillions.

the GOP if elected, will be in position to put one or two new Supreme court justices on the bench. This will turn the bench to the right. To far right for this country to stay The United STates as we know it.


The GOP has on their platform personhood, which they want to add to the constitution.  Personhood means a zygote would have the same rights as me or you. A zygote are a few cells clumped together which will eventually be a baby. In the zygote stage, a woman does not know yet that she is pregnant, yet if by some reason she has a miscarriage she can be charged with manslaughter...!

The GOP platform will put an add on to the constitution making marriage between a man and a woman only. That slashes the rights for those born lesbian or homosexual. It would also recinde those marriages which have already taken place between two men or two women. That would be a tradgedy.

False Statement : Dems Have Abandoned God

I watched the entire Democratic convention on c-span.   For anyone who knows c-span, they have open mikes and show everything. Now, i watched from day one when the gavel came down at five o'clock when the first speaker of the day began his talk.
One by one there was one thing  they said at the end of their speeches. "God bless you, and God bless America."
I have heard pundints, and friends , tell me the Dems abandoned God and took the God plank out of our platform. I did watch, and not once did i hear this.  i watched as they added some things,  the right for women to chose, and have a safe and healthy abortion,  the other was  about Jerusalem  and the fact that most of us (Democrats) believe Jerusalem was and will always be, the capital of Jerusalem.
Not once in three days, from five to eleven, or whatever time the convention gaveled goodnight, until the last night,  I heard NOT ONE THING about the Democrats taking God out of our platform.  We wouldn't think of taking God out of our platform, after all ,He helps us when we need him.
The statement that God was a plank pulled is an outright lie.
I would be much ablogged if someone would just come out and let me know, when it was spoken about, who spoke about it, and what exactly was said.

Republican party's intense show to Covet what Democrats have.

Voter Fraud!  the number one reason for changing voter laws. However, those who really have a line on fraud, and just how much is going on,or has been going on. LISTEN, voter fraud is minimal. There was no reason for the drastic changes which republicans have called for. 
Yes, i agree, a photo i.d. is a good thing.... a gun license can allow you to vote.......  a student i.d.??  No , not enough to vote.  I dont remember the primaries being this tough in any primary state.
Those who are so envious of the fact that the president is seeming to pull away, dont be.  It was Mitt Romney  who showed himself to be uncaring, callous, heck his money doesnt even stay with him, it runs off to switzerland, or suns in the Cayman Islands....   i have been there, it actually is very beautifull, and had I been Romney's money, I too would love to vacation there.
I understand he actually does love beaches. During the Vietnam war Romney used his religion to get out of going to war, where tens of thousands of young men died, or came back...  oh no,  disabled is it? ah well, you better lift some weights so you can strengthen your arms in order to pull your own self up by your bootstraps, sorry man see ya' later.  So i think we were in vietnam, and Romney no where in sight, because he was busy on the beach drawing gigantic hearts with Anne's name inside and he lay just inside the heart.   Isn't this just so sweet.
Ah, it must be a great thing to be talking politics about a better way to park our yachts.  All of us need this very pertinante information, and Mitt has also promised to get rid of 'tick born lyme disease.'.
i tell you what, if there was any way on this good green earth that i wake up Nov. 7th and romney is president, i'll just get into my wayback machine and set it to 1967.  it was more fun the first time around,  besides, i will also need to use those weights i spoke of before to limber up my arms to take up, once again, the battle for a woman's right to choose, the same money paid to a woman for  working the same job.
I wonder, are any of you women out there,  tired of older white men telling us what to do with our bodies? or what i may and maynot do inside my bedroom. as a concenting adult i should be able to choose who i love, not what i love.  Climate change is not a hoax, it is not political football practice, but republicans seem to nix scientific facts for they do not fit into a neat easy box.
No science is the only way you can really, truly think that Dinosaurs and Men and Women and children lived at the same time?...

The fact that all people need to eat in order not to starve, and to live.   and if you just happen to be poor, you have been marked as a drag on the haves as they pay more which goes into the medicaid programs used for the poor.  One such program is food stamps..  here is something that would help a poor family eat, to stay alive, stay healthy.  i'm sorry if you feel this is an affront to you or your family.
Everyone needs health care, it is imperitive.  Sorry, we dont have the money and so we are marked as a drag...   I know a much more eloquent way of stating that we are a drag for the haves.   Hitler made it popular with his move toward euthanasia, the T-4 program...  what a beautiful way to say. "You ARE A USELESS eater, a drag on the haves...  We could put them to sleep ,nicely and forever.  
There, now how does that feel 'haves'?   feel better now...  no worries anymore about those who were a drag on you 'haves.'

Mitt Romney would have us believe that seniors on medicare, the poor or the disabled on medicaid and food stamps,, the unemployed on unemployment insurance, injured veterans, are what the nazis called ‘useless eaters.’ In other words almost half of americans are lazy, shiftless, needy and unable to take responsibility for their lives, just because they have been hit by unfortunate circumstances or, by the grace of God, have grown older and wiser, they, ALL, shall be punished.

They will and must pay more taxes from money they do not have, while the very wealthy, those fortunate enough to have had wealthy parents who have given them a  million dollar inheritence, from which they, as Ann Romney so pitifully put it, eeked out a meager existence eating tuna fish,  and living in a basement apartment.

Ann Romney  has never held a job. she has never had to.  Mr. Romney was fortunate enough not to have had to take a loan for college, though his father who came from Mexico actually did pull himself up from his boot straps.

If mitt Romney became president, the elderly would be where they were before medicare was enacted..  food stamps would disappear, pell grants for college would be cut. A woman’s right to choose ,gone.. even if she is raped, or impregnated by incest.

Mitt Romney reminds me of the French King and the french revolution….   we will eat cake.

He will run this country the same way he went into other companies.  Cut the useless, medicare, medicaid, food stamps, unemployment benefits. head start programs for children, healthcare, bring back caps on health insurance , repeal the dream act and the fair pay act. All women’s clinics will be closed.

I am wondering if there would be a president romney who would take the vote away from women. After all, he does feel, as does the republican platform, that women apparently cannot think for themselves.

Voter supression is a dangerously real affair.

Here in north carolina, a non profit organization which is in reality a business, is sending form letters to democratic voters, telling them they are sorry , but they have been declared DEAD, and therefore may not vote!!!!

This is the most crucial   vote in United States history.  The American way is on the line. There is also the immediate chance of the pick of another supreme court Justice.

We cannot afford Romney as president,  we literally cannot afford him, not at this juncture of american history.

Please join with me to keep this country free.  free for all to be able to vote. For the elderly to live in dignity in their retirement years, to take care of those who cannot care for themselves.  Not everyone CAN pull themselves up.  Remember some americans have no arms..

The seventeenth amendment guarantees voters the right to vote in, their own senators. The GOP, Flake and at least one Supreme court Justice must feel that democracy is bad or wrong. There are some things they don't like, like the people actually voting their own state senators in or out.
In their fashion, the pubs want the poor to do nothing more than disappear.

Justice Antonin Scalia is a deeply partisan and activist judge. He too would like to see Senate elections abolished. To think he wants the constitution changed and any voter's rights taken away is absolutely chilling.
We know now the Conservative GOP is trying in most states to purge and cut voters from the roles. But it isn't about all the voters. Only minorities, poor, elderly, students, and all those who just may vote for democrat, President Obama. Republicans kick the Debt Can Again

Why?
The republicans are at it again.
They dislike President Obama so much, they are willing to let the U.S. rating go down the drain.
The debt ceiling has always been raised. It is quite the norm. What is not the norm is the fact that repubs will not raise it.
How many times can this country go into default?
This is a cliff hanger, and the fact that the ceiling is not raised only makes the united states rating in the world look terrible.
The Republicans have no cares as this happens. Most are the one percent in the country. They may pick up and leave. Probably go to The Cayman Island, nice ,close, and cozy with their money.
They are against everything that is moral and fair.

The Almost Deadly Headboard

      At it Again;

     While taking our daily doggy walk, my daughter, grandson and I, took the ritual through the forest path.
     Planted on the left of the path is a wood fence, which after a while turns to wire. A white bent piece of ron caught my eye.
     walking just farther, I realized the white which caught me, had been a white brass headbord. Old fashioned.
     Knowing me, those who do, know  am a big time sucker for anything 'old', or has an old look. Sometimes men, but let me not stray...
     Now, mind you, I have a bad back, as well a a heck of a case of carple tunnel.
     My mind was set.
     "Mom, I don't understand you,", DUH. "You're back hurts and your thumb. What are you doing?"
     She knew, though her concern is constant and appreciated, as well as priceless, I, well, let me say, I do what I wish, at the exact second I wish. Be this good or terribly bad. Come what may.
     Did I mention I wore flimsy sandles and previously there had been three days of rain?

     I trudged to the end of the wire gate. Almost there. I thought it would be an easy treck. Everything looked fine. Of course this means nothing.
     I shleped through large branches and sopping leaves. BUT, I spotted my prey.
     Not as easy as first thought, the iron side boards were attached with bolts.
     I grabbed the side bar, heaving it to and fro. On one to- or fro, my sandle was sucked off by thick soaked leaves.
     With all my might I ripped the side bar back, forth, and around. Not paying attention to the wherewithall of the headboard itself as it bashed me on the right side of my head. I wondered if this was the day I would die.

What In The World?

Early this month, (march), southern Israeli cities and towns sustained five days of rocket fire from Hamas and other groups.

Pro Palestinian activists plan to land at Ben-Gurion airport next month as part of an 'aerial flotilla.'

In order for activists to carry their plan to fruition they must board planes in other countries, landing at Ben-Gurion airport inside Israel. The airplanes would be IN the air.

QUESTION: If the west bank was attacked by Israeli rocket fire for five days---or one. One day of rocket fire in to the west bank would evoke condemnation from western powers, as well as all day, 24 hours of news and video of the wicked, unkind Israeli, who hates and destroys everything, and then releases hundreds, thousands, of Palestinian prisoners.

QUESTION:Can any American say it is a fine idea for terrorists to board planes in other countries and fly in to Israel? we would say, "No way, are you crazy?"  Who would know that these planes wouldn't fly in to buildings or drop bombs. It's insane!

Israel is being raped, and the world watches, blaming the victim instead of the rapists.

I dont believe it is hatred, or envy. I believe the idea that Jews do not embrace christ is one of the reasons for this disgust.
Christ a Jew himself. Does anyone, anyone, really believe christ, himself would have wanted his people to go through the sorrows, he went through?
No, Jews do not believe in christ. For us, he is not the messiah.
But do Jews turn it around and murder anyone who does not believe in our King of the universe? No, of course not.

Who knows for sure? Who will ever know for sure?
And so, who will ever know for sure, why it is the Jews are hated around the world.

Blanket

The day was the same as any other. Every day I walk to the pharmacy which is right at the next corner near our home.
It was darn cold. In stead of buying a real blanket I bought two throws. One was gray, the other was a black and white zebra.
I made my bed with these throws.
Mr baby came into my room, "those are some nice covers you got there grandma."
Yes, I agreed
About a week later, my zebra cover was gone, and in the loving hands of my grandson. He called the blanket 'blanket'.
Blanket now talks and he is my grandsons best friend.
He talks to blanket and blanket talked to him.
Blanket has since been washed and dried several times.
I am happy,it makes my grandson happy.
Gee, I really loved blanket.

This afternoon while browsing CNN's belief section, I came across an article which really got my dander up.
Michigan Pastor Kent Clark, oh, no no, of course you know him, apparently he is the man who tells us all who is, and is not, a DAH DAH Christian.   So , he tells us No, Mitt Romney is not christian.
Mr. Clark introduced Santorum as the candidate, "a man who believes in a creator, not the accident of gas and dust..."
Rick Santorum, you will remember, wanted to puke when J.F.K said he would keep religion out of the public square. Clark agrees. Look at the difference between the man J.F.K. and Rick Santorum.
Here is another talking point from Pastor Clark.."We have built a wall of separation. This imaginary wall between church and state. I believe there is a sleeping giant, the christian church.l If it gets activated it's going to turn this country upside down and that's what this man (Santorum) will do.
My mind has a burning question. Maybe yours does too.
Why is the christian church the number one issue on Rick Santorum's list of things to do as president. What happened to... say, health care, Whoooops, I forgot- the pastor, who runs a homeless outreach (faith based) announces Santorum, because he is a man of faith ,understands social ills, are cured  at the family level.
